Cancellation Policy

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience with your Nottingham Braids Hair Wig Specialist, please review the following before booking: Deposit & Payment A 25–35% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your appointment and will be applied to your total. The remaining balance is due in cash on the day. Deposits can be made via our website or in person. For Parents If booking for a child, you must attend with them. Children sometimes change styles or make choices (e.g., adding gel, hot water finish, or extra hair) that affect the final cost. We can’t be responsible for decisions made in your absence. Hair Prep If you're not booking a Hair Cleanse & Treatment (£50), please arrive with hair that is: • Clean • Fully detangled • Properly blow-dried We do not work on unclean hair. If unprepared, you may be asked to book the cleanse or your appointment may be cancelled. Guests No extra guests allowed. One parent/guardian may attend with a child receiving service. Punctuality A £20 late fee applies after 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. Style Requests If your desired style isn't listed online, text 07359 569005. Allow 24–48 hours for a reply. Environment We aim for a calm, respectful atmosphere. We reserve the right to refuse service where: • Expectations are unclear • Communication is difficult • Behaviour is disruptive Deposits will be forfeited in such cases. Cancellations / No-Shows No-call, no-show appointments will result in a charge and loss of your deposit. Client Service & Pricing Policy We value professionalism, transparency, & high standards. Pricing & Consultation Prices are explained during consultation and confirmed before payment. They reflect the skill, time, and materials involved. Discounted rates are offered at our discretion. No negotiations after service. Custom Work Specialised work (e.g. closures, frontals, wig replacements) requires care and expertise. Synthetic hair has limits and cannot be styled like human hair. Styling (e.g. tonging/curling) is not included unless paid for separately. Concerns & Complaints Service issues must be raised within 48 hours of collection. Once explained, we won’t re-engage in ongoing discussion. Respect We do not tolerate rudeness or abuse. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who compromises our team's wellbeing.
